Huberspace in the spotlight at network group relaunch

September 5, 2007

The "Lunch Bunch LeadShare", a Loudoun Chamber business networking group, was "relaunched" at Vintage 50 Restaurant in Leesburg, Virginia.

To kick off the event, Huberspace founder, Jim Huber, set up equipment for a little demonstration called "What's in YOUR Web Site." He showed just how quickly what looks like a "perfectly good Web site" can frustrate, turn off and drive visitors away! Then he shared ways to help visitors to your Web site find what they're looking for. "It's fun to see everybody's reaction. It's like staging an informal 'usability' test," said Huber.

Stu Plitman (Sun Trust Mortgage, Inc.) is behind the relaunch of the Lunch Bunch. "I've seen how plugging in the right people can really build your referral business." Lunch Bunch, one of eight Loudoun Chamber LeadShare groups, meets on the first and third Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. at Vintage 50. To find out more about the Lunch Bunch, email stuplitman@verizon.net.
